Legal Agreement & Educational Fair Use

TbmLib Terms of Service & Acoustic License

Last updated: October 2026 · Standard Edition

1. Educational & Repertoire Fair Use

All slide position charts, harmonic partial derivations, and public-domain solo concerto guides hosted on TbmLib are provided for music education, personal rehearsal, and classroom reference.

Educators and students are granted a free, non-exclusive license to print A4/A3 slide charts for private teaching and rehearsal rooms.

2. Acoustic Physics & Intonation Disclaimer

Trombone slide positions, physical centimeter extensions, and temperature tuning shifts are modeled on standard atmospheric conditions (20°C / 68°F, ISO 16 A4=440Hz/442Hz). Actual pitch may vary depending on bore size, bell alloy, mouthpiece cup depth, and embouchure.

TbmLib provides acoustic reference data only and assumes no liability for instrument maintenance damages or audition grading.

5. Public Domain Repertoire & IMSLP Educational Licensing Matrix

TbmLib hosts structured pedagogical guides and theme transcriptions for historical trombone solo concertos. We strictly adhere to international copyright conventions. Full orchestral scores and piano reductions are linked directly to IMSLP (International Music Score Library Project / Petrucci Music Library) where public domain criteria are met:
